Museum Guidelines

Please honor the following guidelines during your visit to The Queen Anne Mansion House Museum:

  • Remember that touching harms the antiques. Even the slightest touch can, over time, cause painted surfaces, wood, and stone to become discolored, metal to rust, and glass or plaster to break
  • Bags should be carried by your side rather than over your shoulder or on your back. Larger bags like backpacks and messenger bags extend your body size and may inadvertently bump into the artwork. Please leave all backpacks and large bags in your vehicle
  • Silence and refrain from using cell phones and other personal electronic devices in the museum
  • Food and beverages are not permitted in the museum
  • Photography is not permitted inside museum. Exterior photography is permitted
  • Please avoid leaning against walls or running in the museum
  • Children should be attended at all times
  • Please refrain from smoking within the property perimeter
